South Carolina Transfer & Articulation Center Wins PESC 12th Annual Best Practices Competition

(Washington DC) - The Board of Directors of PESC - the Postsecondary Electronic Standards Council - is pleased to announce the South Carolina Transfer & Articulation Center (SC TRAC) as the winner of PESC’s 12th Annual Competition for Best Practices. This submission received high praise from the Board Review Committee for Best Practices because the implementation focuses strategically on a high risk population (transfer students) through collaboration and the use of centralized resources and infrastructure, resulting in a robust, statewide solution that streamlines student transfer steps.

SCETV’s Speaking of Schools Radio Program’s Podcast

SCTRAC, a web portal designed to improve college course transfer and articulation in the state will assist students and support college and university staff members by providing online tools that make it easier to transfer academic credit and evaluate how higher education coursework will transfer among South Carolina’s public colleges and universities. SCTRAC (the South Carolina Transfer and Articulation Center) can be accessed online at www.SCTRAC.ORG and is made available by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.

SCTRAC.ORG Public Service Announcement

April 1, 2010 – Columbia, SC. Today the SC Commission on Higher Education announced the creation of a public service announcement designed to promote awareness throughout the state about SCTRAC.ORG. Developed with major support and creative assistance from the SC Educational Lottery, the announcement will be aired on 20 network television stations and 35 cable stations across South Carolina. Improving College Transfer with the South Carolina Transfer and Articulation Center (SCTRAC.ORG) Website - State Launches Web Portal Devoted to the Transfer of Academic Credit among Public Colleges and Universities.

The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is very pleased to announce the launch of a web portal designed to improve college course transfer and articulation in the state.
